Juanice Mickles
Juanice is a Research Associate at the Westchester Biotech Project. She is a native New Yorker, raised in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. She now calls West Harlem her home. Juanice has extensive sales and marketing experience in commercial real estate, film advertising, and experiential marketing. While working in the commercial real estate industry, she wore many hats. Her most notable accomplishments were the creation of partnership programs with outside non-profit organizations. She also spearheaded the production of industry symposiums and seminars and cultivated numerous business relationships.
She earned a degree in Marketing Communications, a professional certificate in Integrated Marketing at NYU, and is currently pursuing her BBA in Business Management at Berkeley College. One of her most recent clients was instrumental in introducing her to the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. She is a contributing member of the Black healthcare community NOWINCLUDED as well as the Lupus Research Alliance. At the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, she developed a love and curiosity for the plethora of bird species in Central Park and is now an avid birdwatcher.

James "Jim" Cinelli
Mr. Cinelli is a Principal with Liberty Environmental, Inc., a full-service environmental consulting firm with offices in Reading, Lancaster, Philadelphia, and New York. He has over 30 years of experience in the environmental consulting field, with emphasis in the areas of site assessment and remediation, wastewater treatment, storage tank management, and spill prevention planning. His experience spans many industry sectors, including petroleum distribution, food products, power generation, secondary metals, and mining. Mr. Cinelli is a licensed professional engineer in five states, and is a Board Certified Environmental Engineer. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University, a Master of Engineering degree in Environmental Engineering from Penn State University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from St. Joseph’s University.
Specialties: Soil and groundwater remediation, industrial wastewater treatment, and storage tank compliance.

Ben Haggard
Ben Haggard grew up in Utah, and is currently pursuing his M.S. in Real Estate Development at NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate. His career interests include learning about new ways to develop and enhance the real estate industry. He loves riding bikes and competing in endurance races. He has ridden over 1200+ miles on Citi Bike. Ben is also currently the Executive President of NYU Schack’s REISA student body board.

Ben Korol
Benjamin Korol is from Chicago and currently lives in Manhattan. He was a Hirsh Fellow at NYU’s Schack Institute for Real Estate and completed his MSRE with a concentration in Finance and Investment in August of 2022. He was also part of the REISA development, sustainability, and innovation committee. Ben is currently working as a Real Estate Investment Analyst doing single-family acquisitions.

Rita Louie
After studying Architecture, Urban Studies & Urban Planning in college & grad School, Rita Louie has enjoyed a long, successful and fulfilling career in the commercial, retail and residential design, development & construction industry for over 35 years, in the New York Tri-state area and around the country. She has worked for several prominent developers as Construction Project Manager, Tenant Coordinator, Site Lead and Director of Tenant Construction, as well as, functioning as a Construction Manager & Design/Build Consultant as an Independent Contractor for her own company, RJL Development, Inc., which she established in 1998 and still operates. The highlight of Ms. Louie’s Consulting journey culminated with her overseeing the opening of hundreds of stores on the most iconic NYC project: World Trade Center Oculus, the most successful urban retail project: The Shops at Hudson Yards and the most notorious & fabulous Shopping Mall project: American Dream Entertainment & Retail Center from the years 2013 through 2021. Rita is, in fact, the only person in the industry that has worked on all 3 of these spectacularly challenging development projects in this capacity and is really proud to have used her wealth of experiences and knowledge to help bring them to fruition.
In her spare time, Rita loves painting, working in her vegetable garden, playing with her poodle “Pasta” and hiking, going to the beach or binging Netflix with her husband of 42 years, Richard. She is the mother of 2 very successful adult children, Rick & Corinne, and a very proud grandmother to Ellie Katira Louie, who will be 2yrs. old in March.
